Recently, I turned 40. It’s a milestone that I’d been dreading for a long time. 

Why? 

Well, I’m sure you all know how our bodies change as we get older. They get less flexible. They get weaker. They don’t heal as quickly. In short, they just don’t work the way they used to.

That said, there are some things we can do going into our 40s to age gracefully in the decades to come. Here are 3 tips from the health experts at Care for Women’s Medical Group:

1. Keep Your Bones Happy and Healthy

Once you hit your 40’s it is definitely time to make sure that your diet includes plenty of Calcium and Vitamin D to maintain strong bones. Exercises like weight training are also a great idea.
